The OCEANUS 20th Anniversary ships at the end of February

In October 2004, Casio launched the world’s first full-metal solar chronograph with multi-band radio synchronization. That watch, named after the Greek titan of the sea, spawned an entire line driven by the dual pursuits of innovation and elegance. To celebrate 20 years of Oceanus, Casio has launched a special edition befitting its heritage.

The Oceanus 20th Anniversary features a 42.8mm case rendered out of titanium paired with a matching bracelet, offsetting its robust size. Its dark dial features green accents and dual Casio and Oceanus logos. The watch’s sapphire bezel is the real star, however, with its green vapor distillation and Edo Kiriko finishing. Named for the Japanese capital, Edo Kiriko is a traditional form of Japanese glass cutting renowned for its stunning faceting and jewel-like appearance. Combining traditional craft with modern technology, it is a fitting tribute to the brand’s twentieth year. This special celebration is limited to just 1600 pieces.

Inside the Oceanus 20th Anniversary is the Bluetooth-enabled Tough Solar 5701 module. Powered by light, this Bluetooth-compatible movement features radio setting, date, chronograph, world time, and full auto calendar complications.
