Let it never be said that Casio G-SHOCK does not listen to its customers. The new G-SHOCK GDB500 series watches in black, white, and neon are all-new designs with smaller, thinner cases for even greater wearability. They are the evolution of the iconic 5600-series case and are intended for smaller wrists or anyone preferring a smaller form factor.
The highlight with the G-SHOCK Digital Basic is its case. Measuring 40.8mm wide, 46.3mm lug to lug, and only 11m thick, the case represents reductions in 2.4mm, .4mm, and 1.7mm respectively. The cases are squared off and match with the angular bracelet. An all-digital display conveys all the information at a glance.
The Digital Basic Casio is powered by a quartz movement with dual-time, Bluetooth capabilities, step-tracking, automatic calendar, dual-time, stopwatch, and alarm functionality. In other words, anything but basic. Water resistance is rated to 200m.
